The Local Organizing Committee for the CAF Africa Women Cup of Nation chaired by Freda Akosua Prempeh, MP for Tano North Constituency has released pre-tournament activities expected to take place in the next few weeks before the main event kicks start on November 17, 2018.

The committee was in Cape Coast yesterday to inaugurate the Cape Coast  LOC which is to be headed by Thomas Adjei Baffoe, Deputy Regional Minister and some others who are to supposed supervise work in one of the tournament's official Host Cities.

Having hopes of getting the hosting approval from CAF, Deputy General Secretary Anthony Baffoe will arrive in the country within the week to complete inspection on the match venues.

The official song for the tournament will be launched next week in Accra and days after will see the unveiling of the official Mascot.

The draw is however expected to take place on the 25th of September in Accra.
