Kwesé TV Ghana, a subsidiary of the Econet media group is pleased to announce the biggest pre-xmas walk and aerobics on 8th December, 2018 beginning from the El-wak stadium car park.

The 2018 Kwesé Power Walk is a fantastic opportunity to get out in the fresh air and get some exercise while we campaign against women abuse in our society.

The 5K Walk is aimed at inspiring the mind, body and spiritual health through fitness and exercise and is expected to attract over 500 participants from keep fit clubs, corporate organizations, Old students Associations, youth groups and celebrities as we unite walkers and women advocates in the fight against women abuse.

This year’s event provides health information and diet tips plus will use the opportunity to promote physical activity which in the long run will reduce health complications amongst Ghanaians all while embracing diverse culture and a strong sense of community.

Activities:

  • A 5km Walk as we campaign against women abuse
  • Musical workout and aerobics
  • Self Defense techniques
  • Talk by experts about health and fitness with associate nutrition( Topic: Age and Nutrition)
  • Fun games (Lime & spoon, suck race, paint ball, dance competitions etc
  • Socialization & business networking
  • Launch of the Bend Ball competition for Keep fit clubs
  • Light entertainment

DATES: Saturday 8th December, 2018 from 6am
The walk begins from El-Wak, winds through 37 area through airport shell and ends at EL-wak sports stadium
NOTE: On Saturday 15th December, 2018, all roads lead to Aburi mountains for the second phase of the campaign – Route: starting from Ayi Mensah to Aburi gardens at exactly 6 am in the morning.
